What you'll do:

• Be alert and active in supporting facility’s commitment to safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents’ rights.
• Assist cook in preparing meals and meal trays.
• Assist in serving meals and cleaning dining area.
• Take an active part in making sure all dietary personnel follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations.
• Wash and put away kitchen pots, mixing equipment, flatware, etc.; keep storage for these items clean, sanitary, and orderly.
• Clean food preparation worktables and other kitchen work surfaces; clean kitchen walls, refrigerators, and refrigerated walk-ins.
• Sweep and mop floors in kitchen area.
• Remove garbage and cardboard from kitchen area and dispose of properly.

Who you are:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
• One-year previous experience in a SNF facility, preferred.
• WA State Food Handler's License
